WAREHOUSE UNION LOCAL 6

OVER 60 YEARS OF MILITANT UNIONISM

The Warehouse Union Local 6 – affiliated with the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) – is an organization of workers who act together to defend their rights and collectively bargain for improvements on their jobs.  Through contractual agreements, these workers have created better working conditions in a variety of industries.

ILWU LOCAL 6

Founded in 1937, the Warehouse Union Local 6 has since proudly sustained and defended its founding principles of democratic control of the union by its members in stern defense of workers rights, both those who are members of this union and those who are not.
